WHAT IS PESTO?
Pesto is a typical recipe of Liguria that is done by the beginning of 1800.
The fundamental element is the Genoese BASIL that has a particular due taste to the combination of the air of sea with that coming from the mountains behind of the city of Genoa.
Other ingredients are the pine nuts, Extra Virgin olive oil, Pecorino and Parmiggiano cheese, garlic and salt.
